WAEC Releases 2024 WASSCE Results for Private Candidates – 67.55% Secure Five Credits and Above

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2024 WASSCE results for private candidates. According to the latest statistics, 67.55% of candidates obtained a minimum of five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, a key requirement for university admission in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia.

Candidates who sat for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates 2024 can now check their results online via the WAEC results portal. To access their scores, candidates must use their WAEC scratch card or result checker PIN.

The examination body also highlighted measures to curb examination malpractice, ensuring a fair assessment process. Additionally, WAEC has provided avenues for candidates to request their certificates and transcripts for further academic or professional use.
