Don’t worsen our pains with petrol price hike - Yoruba Elders tell Tinubu

 The Yoruba Council of Elders, also known as YCE, has called upon President Bola Tinubu to address the current struggles being faced by Nigerians. They urge him to take action and not worsen the situation with the recent increase in the price of petrol.

In a statement released by the YCE's General Secretary, Oladipo Oyewole, it is stated that while they remain optimistic about a positive future for Nigeria, there is currently a significant amount of suffering throughout the country.

The YCE stands firm in their belief that the well-being and interests of the Nigerian people should be a top priority. It is clear that without regular electricity supply and with the recent rise in the cost of petroleum products, the daily struggles of the people will only increase. It is evident that at this time, many Nigerians are suffering due to the lack of electricity, fuel, and food.
